Interview of candidates who have qualified for the CWE Clerk III will start from February 2014. Let us look at a few essential tips that might help you to crack this interview:
1. Confidence
First and the most important aspect of preparation is your level of confidence. Most of the candidates don’t get a job because they are overstressed. Be calm and answer the questions. It’s OK if you can’t answer all the questions.
2. Prepare well
Do your homework properly. Plan and rehearse your resume. Prepare for the most common questions like “Tell me about yourself”, “Your strengths and weaknesses”, “Why should we hire you?” and so on.
3. Mannerism
It is very important to greet the interviewer with a smile. We almost forget to greet because of tension and stress. Little things make a difference.
4. Voice tone
When it comes to personal interviews, one important but ignored factor is your voice tone. Make sure to sound upbeat, interested, engaged and not distracted.
5. Look presentable
You should try to make a proper effort to look presentable. Looking good will help you boost your confidence. Wear decent and comfortable clothing and footwear.
6. Ask questions
See to it that you keep some questions in the end to ask. Be specific when you ask questions to the interviewer. This can especially come in handy if they ask you if you have any questions to ask them- saying no, would make you come across as a casual candidate who has not researched regarding his job role and the company.
